‘We train like pros, but don’t get paid’
The ritual plays out every evening, as darkness falls in the small white house in a quiet neighborhood of Ingolstadt, in the Bavaria region of southern Germany. Playtime, bath, baby food, diaper change, a story, a cuddle and then off to bed. On this January evening, 16-month-old Sacha had accomplished all his tasks, helped along by his mothers, Lore and Marion. However, these particular young parents had one routine more.
