Obamaโ€™s cohost Craig Robinson learned that Meganโ€™s mother was an artist who taught her how to be a professional and go about her business in music, while others in this current landscape โ€œwant the fame without the hard work that goes into it.โ€

โ€œI mean, honestly, itโ€™s a little bit easier to do that, though, now,โ€ Megan agreed. โ€œYou can go viral on Instagram and have a terrible song.โ€

She continued: โ€œThe internet has made it really easy to be famous โ€” good or bad. I think you can tell the difference between people who really love what they do and people who just want to be famous. I feel like I fall on the side of I really love what I do.โ€

Robinson thinks that artists who donโ€™t truly love their craft last, but Megan said even those who donโ€™t can still โ€œsometimesโ€ carve out a lengthy career.

While the Houston Hottie has continued to tease her upcoming Act: III album, the โ€œWAPโ€ rapper confirmed the project will welcome the return of her Tina Snow alter ego.

โ€œA reintroduction for Hotties that may have not been with me since 2017, 2018; I think this will be a new experience for them,โ€ she said. โ€œI think Iโ€™m just reintroducing my alter ego, Tina Snow. Tina is grown now. She has been through lots of life since you heard from her last.

โ€œI have so many collaborations that I feel like the Hotties have been asking for, from niche collaborations, collaborations thatโ€™s overdue, collaborations that shock the people,โ€ Meg added. โ€œI feel like Act: III is gonna be one of my favorite projects that I ever put out.โ€

The 31-year-oldโ€™s most album, Megan, came in June 2024. Itย debuted at No. 3ย on theย Billboard 200ย with 64,000 total album-equivalent units, according to Luminate. She returned with theย Act: IIย deluxe for the LP in October of the same year.
